The Swimmer of the Month Program
Each month four swimmers will be chosen by the coaching staff to receive the award. Two swimmers 11&under and two swimmers 12&older will be selected each month. Each winner will receive a “swimmer of the month” swim cap to wear at practice and a Certificate of Recognition. The criteria of selection for the award will be based on practice attendance, work ethics, meet performance, and leadership.
Announcement will at beginning of a team practice by coaches on a designated date, where swimmers have the opportunity to shine and enjoy congratulatory words and gestures from teammates. The swimmers will be listed on the team website, with new additions each month as an ongoing recognition format. Photos will be taken of all four swimmers with a press release sent to local media and will be on the team web site until the following month’s recipients are featured.
